In Short

We want you to love what you ordered. Every piece is printed just for you - no shelves, no stockrooms, no mass production. Because of that, we can’t process returns like big box stores do, but we’ll always do our best to make things right.

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or exchange. Here’s the quick version:

  • Damaged or defective? We’ll replace it right away - no need to send it back.

  • Exchange for a different size, color or design? Eligible for an exchange or refund once we receive the original item back. You’ll cover return shipping.

  • Changed your mind? Returns without an exchange are accepted upon approval and are subject to a 15% restocking fee to help cover printing and handling costs. Refunds will be issued for item cost only. This does not include the original shipping or return shipping costs.

Eligibility Window

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags intact.

 

Exchanges (Size / Color / Design)

If you’d like to swap your item for a different size or design:

  1. Place a new order for your preferred item.

  2. Contact us to start your return for the original.

  3. Ship the original item back using your preferred carrier.

Once we receive the return, we’ll issue a refund for the first order (minus any shipping fees). Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping - we don’t provide prepaid labels.

 

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send your order number and a few clear photos (the full garment + close-up of the issue). We’ll send a replacement at no cost - no return required.

 

Other Returns

If you’d like to return an item without an exchange, please contact us for approval first.
Returns in this category:

  • Must be in brand-new condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags).

  • Require the customer to cover the cost of return shipping.

  • Will incur a 15% restocking fee, deducted from your refund total.

  • Refunds are issued for the item cost only and do not include original shipping fees.

 

How to Start a Return

Email us at hello@thelayovercollective.com or fill out the form on our Contact Us page within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number, any photos (if applicable), and a short note describing your request. Once your return is approved, we’ll share our return address and next steps.

 

Refunds

After your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund.

 

Exceptions

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

These are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
